Hi, Welcome to Avocado Arts. C'mon in and stamp awhile! I've been a graphic designer/illustrator for 20+ years, actively working in many industries and I'm thrilled to be sharing my work with you. It has been a dream of mine to launch a clear stamp company with a bit of a different vision: stamping is for everyone! I'm an illustrator who stamps (and I think that's important), so I have a vision to create coordinating images that have endless possibilities. I teach a wide variety of Copic and project classes locally at PhotoScraps in Maryland. I'm also a wife, mama of 2 and business owner. Creating and art have always been a part of my life. My mamma has been an art teacher for over 25 years and our house was filled with her paintings, drawings, pottery and other artwork. I loved being able to hang out in her artroom at school and sit on the potters wheel and try and mold something with my hands. Being able to pick up colored pencils, a paint brush or markers and move something from my head into visual form was always something I enjoyed doing.
I have two boys that are 11 and 13 years old...I love watching them in their sports and spending time with them just being their mom. I have been married to my hubby, Jason, for 14 years and he is an avid outdoorsman. They have lots of hobbies and especially enjoy hunting and fishing together. For years, I searched for a hobby...something that was just for me that I would really enjoy doing without feeling guilty taking time for me (sound familiar to anyone else?) A few years ago, I bought myself a sketch book, some paints and other art supplies. Guess what happened...I rediscovered my PASSION for creating. I started to add STAMPING into my ART. For me, it became very necessary to "SEE" what I was doing while stamping. I fell in LOVE with CLEAR STAMPS! This takes the guesswork out of stamping. Once a week, I get together with my best friend, Andrea, to craft and create, to laugh and have some girl-time. I can't imagine my life without creating now. It is my outlet. It is my release. It is the way I express what my heart and soul have to say.
I wanted to find a way to offer others an affordable way to create, for the beginner or advanced stamper. I know I LOVE: working with people, TEAMWORK, professionalism, organization, a POSITIVE attitude, communication, inspiration, encouragement, recognition, a challenge, drama-free people, stellar art, top-notch customer service, laughing and FUN! These things would soon become the foundation of Avocado Arts.
Everything falls into place exactly when it is meant to! A conversation with Lisa Hetrick grew into her joining me as the Creative Director for Avocado Arts. Lisa has created some jaw-dropping art that YOU are going to LOVE! She is an amazing leader for the Art Team and Pit Crew (Design Team). I wouldn't have gotten this far without her. LOVE YA CHICK!
The addition of nine, out of this world, Pit Crew members complete our Avocado Arts team. Aj, Becky, Julia, Kimberly, Latisha, Emily L, Savannah, Kelley and Emily B are so talented! They will blow your mind with their creativity and inspiration! They all feel like family to me! I can't thank you enough for joining Lisa and I on this dream-come-true journey!

What is Avocado Arts?
We are a NEW company that offers high-quality, clear, photopolymer stamps that are made in the USA. Avocado Arts launched in May, 2011 and we are based out of Minnesota. We love that you can "SEE" what you're stamping. Our stamp sets are clean and graphic with a touch of whimsy, style and flair. Each month, we release a 4 x 6, clear photopolymer set with images that are interchangeable, giving you endless possibilities in stamping. Each set has coordinating images, sentiments, builder images and a background builder that are timeless and versatile. Also, as an added benefit, elements from each set will work with the next months set, and so on.
We have an outstanding Design Team called the "Pit Crew". These ladies are super talented and will inspire you with their creativity. We want to "stand out" in this industry as we believe customer service and communication is a priority! If you have ideas or feedback, we want to hear from you!
